Be HONEST and SINCERE with Karate-do, your Sensei (Teacher), Sempai (senior) Kohai (junior) and yourself.
Maintain RESPECT and COURTESY towards your Dojo (hall), Sensei and other Budo-ka (person in karate) by REI.
Always wear a clean, white KARATE-GI during practice in the Dojo.
Take off watch, ring or any other jewellery before training. Keep nails short and clean.
WARM UP before practicing Karate techniques.
REI (bow) before you start and after you finish practice.
Maintain the HIGHEST LEVEL of attentiveness, spirit and energy in the dojo.
Continue your practice with DILIGENCE and PATIENCE.
Avoid interrupting your sensei.
If you are late to training, wait in SEIZA on edge of mats until acknowledged by Sensei or other instructor.
Respond to your Sensei's questions, directions or corrections with "HAI" or "OOS".
Attempt to see all things in a POSITIVE MANNER. Accept criticism openly and enthusiastically.
Maintain a level of 'GOOD STANDING' in the Dojo-Attend class regularly on time. - Inform Sensei of expected absence.
Make dues payment on time. - Demonstrate good attitude and spirit.
